Alpine Travel is thrilled to celebrate the newly qualified Blue Badge Guides

Alpine Travel is thrilled to celebrate the newly qualified Blue Badge Guides at the recent ceremony held in Llanberis! We were among the many prestigious attendees, including Lord Dafydd Wigley , congratulating those who received this coveted qualification.

For those unfamiliar with the Blue Badge certification, it is a highly respected accreditation that requires months of intensive study, rigorous assessments and practical experience before being awarded. This level of accreditation enables guides to take visitors around entire countries, like Wales, and provide them with a wealth of knowledge and insight about every aspect of the area they are visiting.

At Alpine Travel, we believe that becoming a Blue Badge Guide is a great way for people to turn their passion for tourism into a lifelong career. By attending the ceremony, we were able to witness firsthand the dedication and hard work that these individuals put into achieving this goal, and we were thrilled to see them recognised for their achievement.

The Welsh Official Tourist Guides Association (WOTGA) is an excellent resource for aspiring guides, guiding people through the process from Green Badge Local Guides to Blue Badge National Guides. They provide support, training, and guidance to help aspiring guides reach their goals.

At Alpine Travel, we work closely with WOTGA, and we're grateful for their assistance in providing quality tours and excursions for our customers. By partnering with these qualified professionals, we can ensure that our guests receive the best possible experience during their stay in Wales.

To conclude, we would like to extend our warmest congratulations to the newly qualified Blue Badge Guides! We're inspired by their dedication and passion for their profession, and we look forward to working with them in the future. We encourage anyone interested in tourism to consider becoming a Blue Badge Guide, and to utilise the excellent resources provided by WOTGA to achieve this goal.
